Project Analyst / Administrative Support - #20171018-037

Position is located at Huntsville, AL – no relocation allowance available

Job Description & Required Skills:

Provide Analytical support:

  • Conduct technical review of objective evidence for milestone reviews
  • Prepare briefings by consolidating technical information
  • Provide assistance in making program technical decisions
  • Meet with and coordinate the information from integrated program teams
  • Research structural designs and provide courses of action based on recommendations of qualified engineers

Provide administrative support:

  • Writing, proofreading, and editing of documents
  • Prepare correspondences and coordinate schedules
  • Coordinate travel using the Defense Travel System (DTS)
  • Provide support for programs, contracts and financial management
  • Provide assistance with maintaining personnel, security, contracts and other files
  • Support FSO by executing visitor control and facility access procedures
  • Coordinate badge requests and VARs for personnel
  • Utilize and assist in maintaining office equipment and supplies to include procurement
  • Assist Management in the preparation of plans, proposals, contract deliverables and reports
  • Maintain database information to include data entry and auditing

Required Qualifications:

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Proven track record of proficient, business writing skills and excellent communication skills in general
  • Previous experience with DTS
  • Ability to use discretion as this position involves exposure to sensitive information necessitating considerable use of tact, diplomacy, and judgment
  • Experience with JPAS and SIMS desired

Education Requirement:

  • BS or BA desired and four years of related experience or HS diploma and eight years of experience relative to the position

Entry to Mid-Level Windows Systems Administrator - #20171128-041

Job Description & Required Skills:

The successful candidate will support a wide variety of services and technologies. As such, a broad knowledge base and the ability to work across technologies is highly desirable. This position will be responsible for installation, configuration, operation and maintenance of system hardware, applications and any related infrastructure.

  • Perform systems administration and management duties for both physical and virtual systems
  • Support enterprise level applications
  • Assist in storage and data management Assist in daily data protection operations
  • Support data center operations related only to Customer organization systems Secure and support applications and systems in compliance with DISA STiGs
  • Assist Cyber Security personnel with documentation required for RMF compliance
  • Remediate system vulnerabilities identified by SCAP and ACAS scans
  • Support certificate validation and authentication
  • Deploy patches and updates to maintain a compliant security posture Interface with other teams to create solutions and resolve technical issues
  • Provide prompt and accurate service in response to Tier II/III support requests

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CompTIA Security+ CE Certification or equivalent
  • Acceptable Computing Environment certification (can be Microsoft, VMware, Linux or Storage certification)
  • Active Secret Security Clearance

Education Requirement:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems (or related field); OR, High School equivalent and 6+ years of experience.

Security Clearance:

Training Developer/Instructor - #20180104-042

Position is located at Huntsville, AL – no relocation allowance available

Job Description & Required Skills:

Perform duties as Training Developer/Instructor for TPO defined training requirements and serve as mentor and principal interface for/with THAAD Training SMEs/Instructors. THAAD Training Developer/Instructor develop Training materials and Training Support Packages (TSPs) for required system hardware and software upgrades/migrations. Lead training development efforts at the direction of Training Lead. Establish and maintain interface and liaison with TPO Component and System Engineering Leads to ensure awareness and access to proposed system HW/SW updates in order to be prepared for related training requirements. Maintain coordination with the THAAD Instruction leads at the Fires Center of Excellence (FCOE) in order to assure consistency of training across common areas of training. Prepare and conduct Instructor and Key Personnel Training (I&KPT) for THAAD system HW/SW upgrades (Tactical Equipment) and for changes/upgrades for THAAD TADSS implemented at the FCOE. Serve as Instructor Team Lead and principal/assistant instructor for TPO-directed NET training events for any or all components of the THAAD system. Lead the development of materials and lesson plans for THAAD NET events (HW or SW).

Acquisition Lead Analyst - #20180104-043

Job Description & Required Skills:

Support strategic plans and goals development; design and execute studies and analyses of program plans, alternatives, and policies. Technical Evaluation Lead for all Engineering Change Proposals. Develop strategies for MDA procurements in accordance with DoD 5000.02 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR). Support the Program Manager with the development and award of new MDA contracts and the post-award administrative functions of surveillance, acceptance of supplies/services and monitoring finance/funding issues. Managed Procurement Initiation Document (PID) package development and staffing for Task Orders and Engineering Change Proposals, including Requests for Funds Authorization (RFA), Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE), and Statements of Work (SOW).

Education Requirement:

Linux Red Hat Administrator - #20180111-044

Position is located at Huntsville, AL – no relocation allowance available

Job Description & Required Skills:

Real time Engineer for the Linux Red Hat System development team. These duties include:

  • Ensure that all software and hardware is configured so that the Linux Red Hat System is configured to meet or exceed our customer’s expectations.
  • Work with the development leads/developers to ensure the application software is tuned to run on the hardware to which it is targeted including the following:
    • Make sure the proper compiler options are used to get the best application performance
    • Ensure the application code is designed/written to get the best speed that can be obtained from the HW
    • Configure the HW BIOS so that it will run the application code as efficiently as possible
    • Configure the Linux OS to make sure it is operating as rapidly as possible and does not allow the application to stall or data to be dropped

Required Qualifications:

  • Be familiar with software development tools currently being used in the industry
  • Develop scripts and procedures for the System Administrator’s to make sure the application installations are smooth and complete
  • Must be able to configure and build Linux kernels downloaded from kernel.org that have had the RT patches applied, test the kernel(benchmark it) for suitability for running the application without regressions from previous versions
  • Be familiar with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and its RPM packaging
  • Be familiar with at least basic networking concepts and are able to configure a Linux system’s networking including multicast capability
  • Be able to incorporate drivers into the Linux kernel supplied by vendors
  • Be able to write scripts (Bash, Python, etc.) that assist the developers/System Administrator’s perform their duties and ensure the quality of the system/application installations; also be familiar with the kickstart process that installs systems
  • Be familiar with state-of-the-art hardware designs so recommendations can be made to government personnel about hardware acquisitions that the application software is to run on for future generations of the application

Experience and Education Requirement:

At least 5 years of Linux Red Hat experience. College degree in related field preferred.

Security Clearance:

Active SECRET level security clearance.
